We can’t help everyone but we can all help someone. In committing to Hands in 2005, my intent was never to end suffering for the children of Thailand, it wasn’t to raise the children across the country out of poverty, it was simply to make a positive difference to the lives of the kids that we committed to support.
Since that commitment in 2005, my life has been filled with the riches that comes from committing to support others without expecting a return. The focus has changed, but the depth and strength of the commitment to the children has not.
